Chris Rypkema lives and works in New York. He is particularly interested in found narratives, or narratives constructed by chance from found materials. In addition to his independent work, Chris frequently collaborates with writers, photographers and artists developing identities, publications, websites, exhibitions, videos and music. He has worked with organizations such as the Museum of Modern Art, Yale University Art Gallery, Linked by Air and 2x4. He has served as a critic at Columbia GSAPP, teaches at the School of Visual Arts and Parsons School of Design and holds an MFA from Yale. |
